Sourcecontrol.net is a resource for arch and projects that use arch. The following services are offered for free:
- This wiki
- Mail forwarding for gnuarch.org
Daily Arch is a daily source tarball of the development branch of the tla version of arch.
A overly-optimistic attempt to mirror every public archive in existence at http://sourcecontrol.net/stats/archivestats.html. This page also works as an official mirror
- An account that can be used to store your archive if you need a public place to do so or if the mirroring done for mirrors.gnuarch.org is prohibitive.
- Spam filtered email accounts with optional forwarding that are suitable for archive names.
Monthly burns of the http://mirrors.sourcecontrol.net supermirror. Unprofessional copies are made for a cost of $10 U.S. The fee covers the cost of media and shipping. Leftover money is donated to TomLord to continue the development of arch. Contact JamesBlackwell for details.
If you wish to have your archive mirrored, contact JamesBlackwell with the following information:
- The name of your archive
- The location of your archive
- An acknowledgement that your archive is comprised completely of free software
- An indication of whether or not your archive is signed
- If your archive is signed, your key id.
If you could use an account either for development, archive housing, or push-mirroring for the archive, please have the following information available when you contact JamesBlackwell:
- Your full name (First and Last)
- Your ssh key (version 2)
- An acknowledgement that you are working on free software.
JamesBlackwell is pretty flexible in giving out accounts. The primary requirement is that you use the machine only for legal/legitimate activities. Requested account names follow the format of firstinitiallastname. For example, if your name is John Doe, the provided account name will be jdoe. SSH authentication is used so make sure you have your ssh key available when asked.
If sourcecontrol.net can be of use to you, please contact JamesBlackwell.
